Download the video attached to an X post
Use the address of the post containing the video, such as x.com/creator/status/... or twitter.com/creator/status/.... Both domain names identify X posts. Links to an account, search results or an external article do not identify an attached X video.
If a post quotes another post's video, use the original post that contains the clip. Public X videos can be saved when the source makes their media accessible, but availability varies by post. Protected posts, live broadcasts and Spaces are not promised by this video tool.
Save your video
- Open the post containing the video and choose Copy link from its share menu.
- Press Paste above to prepare the clip and check its preview.
- Press Download to save the MP4 through your browser's available save options.

Common questions
Can I use an old twitter.com link?
Yes. Willer Downloader recognizes both twitter.com and x.com post links. The post must still exist and contain a video that the service can access.
Why does one public X video work and another fail?
X can expose media differently for different posts, regions or requests. Some public posts still require signed-in access or return no accessible video. A successful download from one post does not guarantee that every public X video is available.
Does this save a whole thread?
No. Submit the individual post containing the clip you want. The tool does not export entire threads or download an account's media in bulk.
Do I need to provide my X password?
No. Willer Downloader does not ask visitors for their X username or password. It prepares media the service can access from the submitted post link.
